“The Mansion” is the place where history and modernity, past and present meet in a perfect elliptical setting, right in the center of Bucharest.
A short history of the building brings to the forefront the well-known architect Alexandru Protopopescu. He used the building as a shopping center, the ground floor being food and fur shops and hats, while the upstairs rooms were rented as a hotel. Being a close friend of the royal house, even King Carol I rushed to visit his architect friend, discreetly attending some balls and parties organized here.
Today, restored entirely, the old hotel has “dressed” new stuff, but the noble air was preserved the other time.
Rooms at The Mansion Boutique Hotel each have their own style. Whether we are talking about modern trends such as contemporary, minimalist or industrial, or classic ones like ghosts or vintage, each of the 19 bedrooms tells a story. One colorful and imaginative.
The project consists of 3 dwellings with a height of ground floor and floor, each individual dwelling has the following functions: on the ground floor we find a dinning area, living room, kitchen, storage, hall and bathroom, and upstairs we have 3 bedrooms, hall and storage.
The interior spaces are generous and efficient, straight and continuous ceilings, windows and high doors, high quality interior and exterior finishes, patio and garden with pool specially created for outdoor relaxation with family and friends.
